1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They make the site work, remember your preferences or measure how it is used. Alongside them there are other forms of browser storage, such as local storage, which serve similar purposes and are subject to the same rules.

2. What do we use on this site?

This site sets no cookies at all. The only thing it stores in your browser is one of your own preferences, using local storage:

That preference is stored on your device only: it is never sent to our servers, never shared with anyone and cannot identify you. As it supports a feature you explicitly requested by using the theme switch, it is exempt from consent.

3. Usage analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to know which pages are visited and where traffic comes from. It is a cookieless analytics system: it neither writes nor reads anything on your device, and it does not track you across websites or across visits. The data is aggregated and cannot identify an individual.

To count visits, the IP address and browser type of each request are processed and turned by the provider into a temporary, non-reversible identifier. Our privacy policy explains the legal basis:Privacy Policy

4. Why is there no cookie banner?

Because there is nothing to consent to. A cookie notice is required when a site stores or reads information on your device for purposes that are not strictly necessary. This site sets no cookies, and its analytics writes nothing to your browser, so that situation does not arise. Showing a banner asking permission for something we do not do would simply be untrue.

If we later add anything that does require it — cookie-based analytics, advertising pixels, embedded video or third-party chat — we will update this page and ask for your consent before switching it on.

5. Third parties

The only third parties involved in loading this site are:

• Vercel: site hosting and cookieless usage analytics. Like any server, it logs the IP address of the requests it receives.
• Ticando CDN: serves the booking widget, which loads only on our clients’ own websites and not on this one. Those sites carry their own legal notices.

Fonts are served from our own domain rather than an external service, so your browser makes no third-party request to load them.

6. How to manage browser storage

Even though there is nothing here to block, you can delete at any time the data any website has stored on your device. In the most common browsers:

• Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
• Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, search and services → Cookies

If you clear this site’s storage, the only thing you will lose is your light or dark theme preference.

7. Legal basis

The theme preference is stored under the exemption for services explicitly requested by the user, so it requires no consent. Processing browsing data for analytics relies on our legitimate interest in understanding the performance of the site (Art. 6.1.f GDPR), in an aggregated form that cannot identify anyone.

8. International transfers

Our hosting and analytics provider is a US company. Where processing involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, it relies on the appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or any applicable adequacy framework.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page whenever what we store in your browser, or the third parties involved, changes. The date of the last revision appears at the top of the document.
